You could be right. I will run it by Jaime. In the meantime, do you think we should do Picture/Name/Short Bio or just Picture/Name?? Also, so that I have something to go to her with, give me some reasons why it would be a good idea.

We are actually in the process of putting game results online. However, they will not be as current as some may like.
You may have noticed that we are also in the process of posting big wins on the site. This will be the online version of the "Big Win Board" at LVK.
Unfortunately, the option to check tickets online, while very convenient, will probably not be available any time soon. The logistics behind a system like that are quite involved and the owners/management along with myself feel that it is too much of a security risk to implement that system.

If people are wanting to check their tickets online and are registered users, how much of a security risk could it be? It should not be any different than calling in and giving the number over the telephone. How many times do clientele accidentally give the wrong number over the phone? Could that potentially be a security risk? Think not. The computer system either kicks it out as a wrong number or when the ticket is brought in, it shows that there is no win. Sure, you can always enter some bogus number, but if the client is truly the ticket holder and has to present the ticket at the keno counter, what risk is really involved? And there is no way to duplicate a winning ticket, unless the client bought two exact tickets which would have two separate barcodes; therefore, paying twice on the separate ticket numbers. The system will not allow errors to happen. Any employee, former employee and seasoned keno player knows this. Logistically, it would take time to implement a "Ticket Check" online, but it is not far from impossible. Are the Vegas casinos doing it yet? And if they are, how much risk is involved in billion dollar gambling establishments doing "Online Ticket Checks"? Take a bit of time to do some market research and post the results. Love to Ron, Jan, Diane, Karen, Barb, Bonnie, Shala, Jaime & the awesome regulars that make LVK the place to play

Thank you for your post. These are all extremely valid points. However, I believe that the security concerns are more internal than anything else.
LVK and I have not been in the best of communications lately and the updates on the website have been more than lacking. I am going to try and arrange a meeting with Jamie in the next couple of days to discuss the general direction of LaVistaKeno.com and will bring up the customers concerns at that time.
I will be sure to update the board with the results of this meeting.
Until then....!!!
